Tempo Maguires Gaelic football club signed up as an organisation for the Darkness into Light walk, on Saturday 8th May. In permitted groups we walked bv/w 5 and 10 miles – please see photos taken this morning.
We raised £824.00 for Pieta Darkness into Light, supported by electric Ireland, The Aisling Centre in Lisneaksea will benefit from money raised through this walk, especially linking into support for suicide prevention. It was a cold and windy morning (As Elvis would say!) but for an excellent cause and we all felt great after the walk was completed.
