Games were spread right across Thursday, Friday and Sunday as round 3 came along in the Fermanagh Senior Football Divisions 1, 2 and 3.

A number of weddings changed the evenings for the three clashes that weren’t played on Friday evening.

In Division 1 its Derrygonnelly who still hold a 100% record, Aghadrumsee recorded a first win along with Enniskillen, while Erne Gaels face Teemore on Sunday.

Kinawley and Newtownbutler are moving along nicely in Division 2 with 3 wins from 3 for each, while Lisnaskea and Belcoo are still searching for a point.

Tempo lead the way in Division 3, while Coa still search for a point. Maguiresbridge finally got their season going, although it ended in defeat against Tempo.

Westville Hotel SFL Division 1

Devenish 1-3 v Derrygonnelly 2-16

Derrygonnelly made it 3 wins from 3 with a 16-point victory over neighbours Devenish on Thursday evening.

It was all Derrygonnelly in the first half with the League champions hitting the back of the net in the first half from Michael Duffy after a turnover to lead at the break, 0-1 to 1-13.

Jack Love pointed in the second half for Derrygonnelly before Terry O’Flanagan hit a two pointer and Jamie Flanagan hit a goal for the home side to make it 1-3 to 1-14.

Leigh Jones hit a second Derrygonnelly goal before Michael Duffy pointed again.

Aghadrumsee 2-13 v Belnaleck 0-13

Aghadrumsee celebrated a first ever win of the season with a six-point home win against Belnaleck who find themselves still searching for an opening point after 3 games.

Aghadrumsee led 0-8 to 0-3, before Belnaleck hit some fine points via Bryan Owens and Garvan Quigley to leave it 0-9 to 0-7 at the break.

Damien McCarville and Eoin McCabe hit early second half goals which swung the game for the hosts and created a memorable opening win.

Enniskillen 0-17 v Irvinestown 0-10

Ross Bogue was to the fore as Enniskillen claimed an opening win of the season at Brewster Park.

It was Irvinestown though who started the brighter with Odhran McGovern hitting two fine scores and experienced Ronan Ormsby hitting some neat points. While for the home side Ross Bogue (2 pointer and a free), Conor Watson and Ronan Beattie left it 0-5 to 0-8 at half time.

Gary Maguire struck the opening score of the second half, but Irvinestown didn’t score again until the last kick as Ross Bogue hit two two pointers while Ethan Beresford, Conor Watson, Nathan Tierney and Fabio Ledwith all chipped in with points for the Gaels.

Erne Gaels v Teemore – SUNDAY

Crust & Crumb SFL Division 2

Belcoo 1-9 v Roslea 0-17

Sean Quigley and Niall Cosgrove were decisive as Roslea picked up a valuable win on the road away to Belcoo.

The O’Rahillys have found the going tough to date but Paul McGrath gave them an early two pointer here.

Sean Quigley responded with 2 x 2pointers before Adam Treanor showed his class with a couple of scores. Lawrence McKeowan and Quigley again kept the scores coming to leave it 0-3 to 0-10 at the interval.

Paul McGrath once again started the half with another two pointer but Sean Quigleys class and Niall Cosgrove was evident as Roslea moved further ahead.

Kieran Leonard swooped for a goal for the home team but Roslea finished confidently with scores from Niall Cosgroveand Brendan Sherlock.

Kinawley 1-16 v Ederney 1-11

Kinawley made it 3 wins from 3 with a hard fought victory over Ederney.

Conor Simmons and Tiarnan McKenna featured with points early on before Matty Ferguson got the home sides goal, but it was Ederney who led at the interval, 1-6 to 1-7.

Liam Owens and Patrick McGovern kept Kinawley going with fine scores, while Shea McElroy pulled off a fantastic save late on to deny Ederney a certain goal.

Lisnaskea 1-15 v Newtownbutler 1-19

Newtownbutler edged out neighbours Lisnaskea in an entertaining Division 2 encounter at Emmett Park on Friday evening.

This game swung back and forth throughout with the home side behind at the break, 1-4 to 0-9.

Damian Og Kelly and Hayde Lynch delivered points while Justin McDade hit his sides only goal. Newtownbutler had Daire Chapman, Kealan Fitzpatrick, Ger O’Keefe and Jamie McCaffrey all on target.

While the game swung either way in the second half it was Conor Courtneys goal 7 minutes from time which enable Newtownbutler to push on for the victory.

Ben Caughey and Conor Casey hit points while Conrad Rehill came on to put in a sublime performance around the middle. Lisnaskea had scores in the second half via Damien Og Kelly, Justin McDade, Sean Keenan and Niall Keenan.

Crust & Crumb SFL Division 3

Coa 0-10 v St Patricks Donagh 2-15

St Patricks Donagh picked up a first win in their second outing, while for Coa it’s been a miserable start in division 3with a third defeat in a row.

The away team started the better with Daire Treacy showing his class along with Tiarnan Wray and Cameron McBrien. Coa responded with scores from Darragh Murphy, CohenMurphy, Sean McManus, while Caoilte Farry hit a two pointer.

Gary Maguire’s team finished the stronger though and led 0-6 to 0-9 at half time.

Eimhin Curran and Thomas Cadden struck the important goals in the second half, while Coa rallied with Gary Lynch and Cohen Murphy accurate, it was St Patricks who had more about them with Daire Treacy, Seanie Cadden and substitute Jimmy Tormey all scoring late on.

Tempo 0-22 v Maguiresbridge 3-9

Niall Fee was the star on show as Tempo made it 3 wins from 3, as Maguiresbridge finally got playing after a lay-off due to Fermanagh hurlers.

Fee hit 0-13 over the course of 60 minutes and put in a captivating performance full of running, panache and accuracy.

Sean Corey and Fee struck some fine points in the opening half, while Ryan Hannigan struck for a goal for his side in the opening half as Conor Mulligan as also accurate, but it wasTempo who led 0-10 to 1-3 at half time.

Brendan Cassidy and Fee once again were to the fore in the second half, while Aidan Breen once again showed his class with a two pointer.

Fionn Nolan struck a goal for Maguiresbridge and Ryan Hannigan hit two two pointers before Caolan Duffy hit another Maguiresbridge goal, but it just wasn’t enough.

Derrylin 2-9 v Brookeborough 1-3

Derrylin made it two wins on the bounce with a 9-pointvictory over Brookeborough on Thursday evening.

The first half will not be remembered for long as the home side led 0-4 to 0-1 at the break, Fearghal McGovern and Diarmuid Owens the home scorers, while Dylan Bogue hitting a 45 for Peter Clarke’s side.

Padraic Owens and Kian Prior hit the two important goals in the second half for Derrylin, while Dylan Bogue hit a penalty for the away team.
