The 2022 Youth Convention was held last night hosted by Maguiresbridge St.Mary’s. This was the first in person Youth Convention to take place since to 2019 due to Covid. There was a large attendance present that heard of all the great work going on across the county in youth activities, with over 400 games and Blitzes taking place from U7 to U19 for clubs to schools. A big thank you was extended to all the clubs and schools for their work and commitment to provide coaching and games to so many children. A special word of thanks was extended to all our referees for without them we could not have our games. A final word of thanks to all the Youth committee especially the Chairperson Eoghan Cassidy, Secretary Leanne Prior, Children’s Officer Anita Keogh, GDM Teresa McNabb and all county coaches.
The host club Maguiresbridge, provided a refreshments and that was greatly appreciated by all present.
