Fermanagh have booked a place in Division Two after defeating Division-Four-bound Wexford by 1-12 to 0-7 at Wexford Park.
The winners led by 1-5 to 0-3 at the interval, with Sean Quigley drilling a late penalty to the net after Paul McCusker was fouled.
Quigley (free) and Tomas Corrigan supplied the Ernemen’s first two points either side of a Ciaran Lyng brace and Quigley (free), Barry Mulrone (from distance) and Ryan Jones had Pete McGrath’s men three points clear approaching the half-hour mark.
The first four points of the second half were shared before Eoin Donnelly, Mulrone and Corrigan put Fermanagh in an unassailable position as they led by 1-10 to 0-5.
The result means that the unbeaten northerners have booked promotion to Division Two and a meeting with Armagh in the Division Three final with a game to spare. The Model County, meanwhile, will play their league football in the bottom tier in 2016.
