Fermanagh Under-14 ‘B’ Championship Final
Belnaleck 6-9 v Irvinestown 4-7
A rip roaring tussle between two sides who really gave it everything finally went Belnaleck’s way after they posted 4-1 in the last 8 minutes of this game at Brewster Park on Thursday evening.
The game was close throughout and it was Belnaleck who went in leading at the interval, 2-5 to 1-5.
The second half seen Irvinestown power in front mainly thanks to superb corner forward Oran Mulligan who was the best player on the entire pitch.
Belnaleck though got back into the game with scores through James Cox and Niall Spillane.
It was all level with 6 minutes to go but up stepped Niall Spillane, James Cox and Oisin McCarney with late goals to take the title back to Belnaleck and leave Irvinestown to think what might have been.
