It may feel like only a few weeks ago when Monaghan defeated Donegal in the 2015 Ulster SFC Final but already thoughts now turn to the 2016 Ulster Championship and the draw that takes place on Thursday night.
Fermanagh who go in search of a first ever Ulster title will go in to the Competition after a hugely encouraging 2015 Championship that seen them defeat Antrim before falling to Monaghan in Breffni Park.
As of below this is when Fermanagh last met each of the other 8 Ulster Counties with Pete McGrath’s side set to meet Cavan, Derry, Armagh and Tyrone in NFL Division 2 in the new year, while we have met Antrim twice in the Ulster Championship in 2013 and 2014, Down could be a game that Pete McGrath would love to get and lastly meetings with Donegal and Monaghan will draw conclusions once again with former Fermanagh players in Rory Gallagher and Malachy O’Rourke now over Donegal and Monaghan respectively.
