This November Fermanagh GAA is Talking Balls with our charity partner Friends of the Cancer Centre as we encourage you to get in the habit of checking your testicles regularly.
Testicular cancer is the most common cancer to affect men between the ages of 15 and 49, but the good news is it is very treatable when caught early with very high survival rates. Early detection saves lives, so it’s really important that you start checking your testicles regularly. If you’re not sure how to check, don’t worry as Friends of the Cancer Centre has produced its very own Talking Balls self-check card with a step by step guide on how to check your testicles. The card comes with a Talking Balls stress ball, the perfect reminder to get checking.
Friends of the Cancer Centre’s Talking Balls self-check card and stress ball are available for free from the charity’s website www.friendsofthecancercentre.com If your club would like self-check cards, please email info@friendsofthecancercentre.com
