As you will be aware, the Reserve A & B Football Championship Finals were scheduled to take place this Sunday 16th September.
As a result of teams (Brookeborough & Lisnaskea) involved in both of these finals drawing their games over the course of the weekend, it will be necessary to postpone both finals until such times as a suitable date can be found.
The replays of the Intermediate & Junior Football Championship will both played this coming Sunday.
Details as follows:
Sunday 16th September in Roslea
JFC QF Replay 2:00pm – Brookeborough Heber McMahons v Derrylin O Connells (Extra Time if Needed)
IFC SF Relegation Replay JFC QF Replay 3:30pm – Lisnaskea Emmetts v Maguiresbridge St Mary’s (Extra Time if Needed)
If Brookeborough lose their game and Lisnaskea win their game, their involvement in the Junior & Intermediate Championship will be concluded for this year and it should therefore be possible to play the Reserve Championship Finals on the weekend of 21/22/23 September. A date for the Reserve Championship Finals will be confirmed as soon as possible.
As a result of the draw in the Junior Football Championship, it will also be necessary to postpone the scheduled date of the Junior Championship Final by one week until the weekend of 28/29/30 September.
The winners of all three Fermanagh Club Championships will be in action in the Ulster Championship on the 20/21 October, so there remains sufficient time to play the concluding stages of the Senior Football Leagues as planned.
