Fermanagh minor manager Simon Bradley and his backroom team of Paul Courtney, Aidan McCarron and Leon Carters have named a provisional panel of 35 players for the upcoming league campaign.
Bradley admits that selecting the panel was extremely difficult with several players very unlucky not to be selected.
“The door is not closed for anyone at this stage, in picking a panel we need a balance for in house matches and training as well as trying to make sure we have options in all areas of the pitch” said Bradley. “We know that anything can happen during the year and its good to know that there are several players who we can call on if it doesn’t work out for those selected at this stage.
Like last year Bradley has a duel target of preparing the squad for the championship but also instilling ?into the players the knowledge and understanding of what it will take for them to go on to the next level and ultimately be county senior footballers.
” this is a key element of our set up and we all feel that if the boys are put on the right path now it can only benefit the County team in the long run”
The minor’s first competitive game is on Tues 19th of March against Donegal.
