Trash the Ash
Smoking is the single greatest cause of death. FULL STOP. It has killed more people than both world wars put together. It can also affect your children and those around you .Smoking causes lung cancer – even the tobacco companies now accept this simple fact. It can also lead to all sorts of serious health problems, including heart disease, stroke, various other cancers (such as bladder, mouth and throat cancers), in addition to bronchitis and emphysema
In Northern Ireland, lung cancer is the second most common cancer for men, while in the Republic of Ireland it is the third most common cancer (after excluding non-melanoma skin cancer in each area). l On the island of Ireland, approximately 1,800 men are diagnosed with lung cancer every year. Sadly, more Irish men and women die from lung cancer than any other type of cancer. Lung cancer is most common between the ages of 65 and 75, but much younger people can die from it as well.
