Mandatory to use a mouth guard

Following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a rule came into force making it mandatory to use a mouth guard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from the 1st January 2013. This is for all age grades up to and including minor. Players will not be allowed to field without a mouth guard so it is essential that all ensure they are compliant with this rule at their earliest convenience. With Christmas coming up and this now a compulsory piece of kit for the footballers in your family, it might make a timely stocking filler.
