The Primary 3 & 4 pupils in Tattygar Primary School today showed how well they can Manage their Bodies! Over the last few weeks they have been taking part in Body Management as part of the KS1 Curriculum Sports Programme with Ulster GAA’s Owen Mooney and their teacher Miss Clodagh Sludden.

Firstly they had to include Travel, Flight and Balance through sequencing as individuals before they brought those ideas to work with a partner. Their balances had to include a counter-balance and/or a counter-tension balance.
Each pupil got the opportunity to be a leader and also each pairing group had to observe the other groups to give feedback and to also help with their ideas when they went back with their partner.
The main theme of the lesson was Sequencing through Body Management, with the cross curricular themes being PDMU and Music.
