GAA TV action 2015

By Tom Thu 14th May

Fermanagh fans will have to make their way to Brewster Park on Sunday May 31st if they want to catch a glimpse of live action as the Erne County start the Ulster campaign at home to Antrim once again, with the BBC confirming that they will only be showing the Quarter final clash with the Saffrons as deferred coverage later on that evening.

A hopeful semi final against Monaghan or Cavan on Saturday June 20th will once again have BBC showing deferred coverage of the clash.

The 45 Senior GAA Championship Games that are being televised will see RTE covering 32 matches, while 13 games are exclusive to Sky Sports.

The state broadcaster will start the live coverage with the meeting of Donegal and Tyrone in the Ulster Championship this Sunday, while a week later the RTE cameras stay in Ulster for the Cavan v Monaghan tie, and also will then show the Semple Stadium clash of Clare v Limerick in the Munster SHC opener.

A total of six Provincial finals will be live on RTE, with the Hurling and Football deciders in Leinster and Munster along with the Ulster and Connacht Football finals to be shown.

Sky Sports opening fixture is the Leinster SFC Quarter-final on June 6th, with Kildare to face Laois or Carlow.

All of the Senior Football and Hurling semi-finals and finals will be live on both RTE and Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, TG4 will continue to broadcast the All-Ireland Minor Hurling and Football Semi-finals and Finals live.
