Ulster Under-17 League Shield Semi Final
Fermanagh v Down
Queens University @ 1.30pm
Fermanagh Under-17’s travel to Queens University Belfast this Saturday to face Down in the Ulster Under-17 League Shield Semi Final.
The Fermanagh side under the watchful eye of Phil O’Connor and Emmett Conlan will know that Down will be a serious tough test for the Erne side.
Fermanagh only won one game of the four league games but that 2-12 to 2-5 victory over Antrim in Derrygonnelly on March 19th was enough to see them finish 4th in a league of 5 teams.
Down have also just won the one game of four with a 1-12 to 1-11 victory over Armagh only last Saturday.
Fermanagh will be able to call on capable players such as Aiden McKenna (pictured), James McQuaid and Callum Jones who have all impressed hugely this season.
In the other semi final Derry face Armagh, with the final set for Saturday April 23rd.
