Fermanagh will play either Cavan or Armagh in the 2013 Ulster Championship following tonight’s draw. Peter Canavan’s side were the third team out of the bowl with Terry Hyland’s Cavan and Paul Grimley’s Armagh to meet in the Premliminary Round. Fermanagh will then be waiting for the winners of this game in the quarter-finals while whoever comes through this will face either Antrim or Monaghan in the semi-final. The other side of the draw certainly looks the more difficult and includes the glamour tie of the championship as All Ireland champions Donegal begin the defence of their Ulster title against Mickey Harte’s Tyrone with the winners coming up against either Derry or Down. The Ulster Championship though will be put on the back-burner by Canavan and his squad with a tough Division Three campaign first on the agenda, and a positive league campaign will give them good momentum moving ahead into the championship.
