The Ulster Club SFC has not been a happy hunting ground for Fermanagh clubs in recent times with just the one solitary win in the last ten years of action.
That solitary win was a 1-12 to 0-11 victory for Roslea Shamrocks against Cavan champions Ballinagh back in 2013.
Some heavy defeats have been shipped out over the past number of years with Teemore, Newownbutler, Donagh and Tempo all bowing out with unconvincing scorelines, while last season seen Roslea not score at all in the first half against St Eunans Letterkenny.
The luck of the draw has not been with Fermanagh champions of late with away days being the norm and once again its the same this year with Derrygonnelly facing a long trek to Derry.
All of Fermanagh will be hoping that a win can be added once again this Sunday and we take this opportunity in wishing Derrygonnelly Harps the absolute best of luck as they come up against the reigning Ulster Champions Slaughtneil in Owenbeg this Sunday at 3.30pm.
