ULSTER football manager Pete McGrath has selected four Fermanagh men for his squad to play Connacht this Saturday at the Armagh Athletic Grounds, in the opening fixture of this year’s Inter Provincial Football Championship.
Roslea’s Sean Quigley, Kinawley’s Tomas Corrigan, Devenish’s Barry Mulrone (pictured) and Eoin Donnelly of Coa who will also captain the side make the 24 man squad, which includes five Tyrone players and four from Monaghan and Down. There are two men from Armagh, Derry and Cavan while just the one from Antrim. Donegal have no representatives.
Ryan Jones was involved with the squad but injury has forced the big Derrygonnelly Harps man to pull out of the squad.
Ulster surprisingly lost last year’s Final against Connacht in Tuam, 2-19 to 1-7.
Fermanagh have no players on Kevin Ryan’s Inter Provincial Hurling panel.
