Fermanagh GAA are delighted to announce the appointment of Rory Gallagher as manager of the Fermanagh Senior football team.
His appointment was unanimously ratified at a County board meeting held in Brewster Park, Enniskillen on Monday September 11th 2017.
The County Board would like to express our best wishes to Rory and his number 2, Ryan McMenamin, with more names to be released at a later date.
Our senior team will start 2018 in NFL Division 3 and it is hopes they can build and progress from here.
The County Board hope that under Rory Gallagher’s leadership this promising team can achieve the success yearned for by the County and its loyal supporters.
Rory was a prominent player and who will ever forget his sublime 3-9 against Monaghan in the Ulster Senior Football Championship back in 2002. A scoring record that is still the highest for one individual in an Ulster Championship game.
Fermanagh’s new managerial appointment will be for a fixed term of three years, reviewed annually.
