The launch of this years All Ireland Championship’s, a Fermanagh Senior Football team ‘Open Day’ will be held on Saturday 16th of May at Noon at the Lissan Training Complex. This event is part of the promotional plan accompanying the 2015 Football Championship and very appropriately ties in with the inaugural Club Eirne U8.5 (P3 and P4) & Under-10.5 (P5 and P6) teams for a blitz which will also be held at Lissan on 16th May starting at 10.30am and running through to 1.00pm.
Similar to the previous years the emphasis on this event – much like our games – will be family fun and therefore we would encourage all our supporters, young and not so young to come along to the Lissan Training Complex where we will have organised a wide range of different activities including a meet and greet session with the players. The players will also participate in various drills, games and skills competitions and also take the whistle to referee a few of the Club Eirne blitz games. Club Eirne are delighted to support this Underage blitz and are particularly pleased that the Senior County team will be present to watch and support the stars of the future.
Our senior team has renewed a belief and pride in Fermanagh football this year. With promotion secured to Division 2 for 2016 we now look forward to May 31st and the much anticipated Ulster Championship clash with Antrim in Brewster Park. The panel of players and management will take time out from their preparations and will sign autographs and most of all spend time with their very valued supporters young and old and therefore look forward to a large gathering on Saturday May 16th.
This is a great chance to meet the Fermanagh senior players and therefore Fermanagh GAA invite everyone to wear your County or Club colours with pride and come along to the Lissan Training Complex at Noon on Saturday May 16th for a fun filled family day.
