Its look away now for Derrygonnelly Harps supporters if recent results can be looked upon as the Fermanagh SFC champions head to Celtic Park in Derry City to face Ulster Club favourites Slaughtneil on Sunday in the Quarter Final of the blue riband competition.
The Ulster Club SFC has not been a happy hunting ground for Fermanagh clubs in recent times with just the one solitary win in the last ten years of action.
That solitary win was a 1-12 to 0-11 victory for Roslea Shamrocks against Cavan champions Ballinagh back in 2013.
Last season seen Derrygonnelly picking up an 18 point defeat to Slaughtneil and one must admit that the draw for the Derrygonnelly side with away games against a superior Derry outfit is hugely challenging.
All of Fermanagh will be hoping that a win can be gained this Sunday and we take this opportunity in wishing Derrygonnelly Harps the absolute best of luck as they come up against Slaughtneil in Celtic Park this Sunday at 2.30pm.
