This event was organised by the Fermanagh GAA Children?s Officer Ferghal O?Connor in conjunction with Gear?id ? Maoilmhichil, the GAA National Children’s Officer, and Dermot Howlin the Wexford County Children’s Officer. Our aim was to provide information to Club Children?s Officers on their role within their clubs. This is the first such information evening and a further follow up is planned for early 2013. I would like to thank Gear?id and Dermot for their time, Sean Henry and his staff at The Clinton Centre for the use of their fine facilities, Club Children?s Officers, Finola Owens, Patsy Dolan and Tom Boyle (Fermanagh County Secretary). A number of clubs were not in attendance so information packs will be handed out at the next Fermanagh County Board meeting which need to be passed onto their respective Children?s Officers.
