The Monaghan district of Ballybay & Clones are working with community groups and the Bank of Ireland to promote the Enterprise/Community of Clones and are asking clubs/groups etc if they would be interested in being part of a Guinness World Record attempt!!
If so, we would love for you all to take part in the Guinness World Record attempt to have the “Most players in a Gaelic football exhibition match”. This event will take place on Saturday 7th November 2015 (exact time to be confirmed later) at the Peace Link, Clones. The Anglo Celt trophy will be present on the day. Current players confirmed are Dick Clerkin, Finty Kelly, Owen Duffy & Jack McCarron. Ciaran Murray former County player & 1985 All Star from Monaghan will be attending. And our guest of honour on the Saturday will be Paraic Duffy, Director General GAA.
