Belcoo will play Roslea in the SFC final after they deservedly claimed a 1-09 to 0-09 victory at Brewster Park tonight.
The sides went in at the break level at 0-04 apiece but Johnny Feeley’s goal 11 minutes into the second half put Belcoo into a 1-05 to 0-06 advantage and they were able to push on to claim the victory as they set up a meeting with Roslea in the final.
Derrygonnelly had the better of the early stages as they opened up a 0-04 to 0-01 lead with Johnny McGurn on target for the Harps.
However, Feeley and Stevie Maguire tagged on points to leave it level at half time.
The second half saw Derrygonnelly move into a 0-06 to 0-05 lead but Feeley then fired to the net and with Maguire and Carrigan slotting over scores, Belcoo went 1-07 to 0-06 ahead.
Paul Ward brought the Harps back into it with three points in a row but Declan Leonard and Niall Leonard rattled over points to see Belcoo progress on a 1-09 to 0-09 scoreline.
