Please find attached the Adult League Football Rounds for the upcoming season. Clubs and other stakeholders are reminded of the following:-
- Erne Cup 3 Round 1 is scheduled for?Friday April 5th @ 6.30pm.?(EC 3 clubs are asked not to involve Co Minors on Friday nights until the Ulster Minor League is concluded)
- Erne Cup 1 & 2 Round 1 is scheduled for?Saturday April 6th @ 6.30pm.
- SFL 1 & 2 Round 1 is scheduled for?Sunday April 14th @ 3.30pm
Club secretaries are asked to note and inform their team managers and players that league performanace in 2013 will almost certainly determine league and possibly championship status in 2014. Following on from the 2012 Co Convention and discussions at Co Board meetings earlier this year there appears to be a very strong feeling that a restructuring of our leagues and championships for 2014 and beyond is desirable and indeed inevitable. As a result of a consultation exercise by CCC several clubs and individuals have already put forward proposals for doing so with most based on league performance in 2013.
CCC will be considering these proposals sooner rather than later. Suffice it to say at the moment that no-one should be under any illusion other than that league performance this year will have far-reaching consequences! Best of luck to all involved!
