After a full 10 games played last weekend this coming week it’s just the 1 replay needed on Friday night in the Intermediate Championship which sees Enniskillen face Tempo once again after a 0-11 apiece draw last Friday evening.
The following day sees the turn of the Reserve footballers in the ‘A’ and ‘B’ Championship Quarter Finals with 16 teams involved in the 8 Quarter Finals. Derrygonnelly, Teemore and Coa have been knocked out in the Preliminary round while Aghadrumsee don’t have a reserve side this year.
The weekend of September 10/11 is another huge one with all 20 clubs competing over a 2 day period.
The big SFC Semi Finals are once again like last season a double header in Brewster Park with the same teams from 2015 competing once again. This time holders Derrygonnelly will be the second game as they come face to face with neighbours Devenish. Before that Roslea will take on Erne Gaels who have already beaten the Shamrocks twice this season in the league.
The Intermediate Semi finals take place on Saturday in Derrygonnelly and Sunday in Tempo.
Throw in the first Junior Championship Semi final on Saturday afternoon in Roslea and a host of Relegation games which will determine which of Teemore/Irvinestown and Ederney/St Patricks Donagh will see the loser of each game competing in the 2017 Intermediate championship.
A host of games to look forward to and first it’s to Brewster Park on Friday evening for Enniskillen v Tempo part 2.
