“The sessions we offer are interactive, positive and designed so that everyone taking part see how they can proactively adopt a healthier lifestyle, step by step. And by offering these services on board a mobile unit that can travel to a community’s doorstep, we are able to reach out to even more people.”

The health checks available on board include blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, carbon monoxide monitoring for smokers, BMI and a body composition analysis. The health awareness sessions are delivered on a one-to-one basis. Visitors are offered advice on improving health and are given information on the early signs and symptoms of various cancers.
