U16 Academy Squad will travel to Ballyshannon next Saturday 30th to Play in the Buncrana Cup Group stages where they will take on Tyrone & Donegal.
U15 Academy will play a challenge on Bank Holiday Monday (TBC) in preparation for their Ulster Blitz which will be hosted in Lissan on the 7th May where we will play Monaghan & Cavan.
Both squads have been working hard since start of March, with great commitment and attitude shown, players have listen and taken on board what is being asked of them by their coaches.
The Academy squads focus is to continue to develop these players to be able to play at a higher level of intensity. We are creating an environment for these players to be able to adopt and compete against the likes of Tyrone & Donegal through the Academy Squad pathway structures, starting with U14s progressing through to U15, U16, with the target of becoming a County U17/County Minors. The Coaches are very happy with the progress todate and will continue to get develop and challenge these players. Thank you to the clubs for encouraging and ensuring their players are able to be apart of the Fermanagh Academy’s.
