Fermanagh GAA was giving a further boost last week when it was confirmed that Sean Duffy and Seamus McCusker would stay on as Fermanagh Senior Hurling managers for the 2016 season.
The duo had a terrific season in 2015 as they saw their charges win the Lory Meagher Cup in an exciting clash with Sligo in Croke Park that seen the Ernesiders win out by 3-16 to 1-17.
The National Hurling League did not go as well with relegation from Division 3A but with the Nicky Rackard Cup to look forward to and a healthy young squad to work with there is plenty of reasons for optimism in the Erne camp for the season ahead.
The back room team has still to be ratified by McCusker and Duffy but it is highly likely they will keep with the same personnel that served them so well in 2015.
