WORKSHOP: GOALKEEPING

This is an indoor observation session for all Coaches interested in the working with Goalkeepers in their club. There will be a number of drills and activities including positioning, shot stopping, kicking, ball handling etc. shown using video clips on the night that can be used in your sessions when coaching goalkeepers in varies aspects of their game. PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
VENUE: ST MICHAELS COLLEGE, ENNISKILLEN
DATE: Wednesday 8th March @ 7:30pm
Target Audience: All club coaches, working in any code, at any grade.
Content: A 75 minute workshop to introduce the basics of performance analysis. What is it? How simple can we make it? Why should we use it? And why is doesn’t cost a fortune! This workshop will involve some quick, simple theory behind the area, an introduction to simple ways of analysing performance, and present some practical examples of effective use of PA in Gaelic games. The workshop will suit all coaches, with open questioning and participation welcome, but not essential, and will equip everyone with plenty of take home practices.
