B McCaffrey & Sons Ltd Division 1 Reserve League Final
Roslea v Derrygonnelly @ 7.00pm (Ref – Ferghal Cleary, Kinawley)
The two form sides of the league and in truth be told apart from Teemore putting in a few solid wins mid way through the season it always shaped up as a Roslea and Derrygonnelly final.
The two sides only met the once in the league, Roslea won at their home venue but Derrygonnelly had a players stag on that weekend meant the Harps put out a skeleton side.
The reverse fixture was on when both sides had already qualified for the final so it’s hard to judge how both sides will perform against each other.
Roslea will look to players like Shane McMahon, Shane Lynch and Ciaran Cassidy to make the difference.
For Derrygonnelly they have players such as Stephen Jones, Shane McGullion and Peter Gallagher who will be vital to their side.
A close game awaits.
B McCaffrey & Sons Ltd Division 2 Reserve League Final
Enniskillen v Kinawley @ 5.30pm (Ref – Aidan Ferguson, Erne Gaels)
Both these sides are now promoted to Division 1 for the 2017 season and to go up as Champions and a league trophy to show will be on offer in the opening game in Brewster Park on Saturday evening.
Erne Gaels did run both sides close for the top two positions but Enniskillen’s and Kinawley’s quality shone through and this has the makings of a fine showpiece.
Enniskillen have a nice mix of youth such as Neil McDermott and Michael Dooris along with the experienced former Fermanagh great Neil Cox.
Kinawley will look to captain Martin Ward, Shea Keenan and the lightning quick Aaron O’Reilly to give them the scores.
Two sides who have already been promoted but the chance of a trophy should see a great game.
