The Fermanagh Club Championship is only 5 weeks away and the Annual Referee Fitness and Rules test for all Fermanagh GAA referees will take place at Castle Park, Lisnaskea on Tuesday 2nd August commencing at 7.30pm sharp with the test taking place on the Astro pitch.

Also an Umpires course will be held at 8pm in Castle Park Leisure Centre so that all umpires at this year’s Fermanagh Championship will know exact procedures in games.

Fermanagh clubs are welcome to send along any interested parties and any referee with Championship ambitions must ensure he brings along appointed umpires.

The Fermanagh Championship last season seen Erne Gaels official Niall Cullen referee the SFC final between Derrygonnelly and Roslea. He will also be in action this Monday in the All Ireland Minor Football Championship Quarter Final between Mayo and Kildare in O’Connor Park, Tullamore.

Also a huge well done to another Erne Gaels official in Aiden Ferguson who done a superb job on Wednesday evening as he refereed the Ulster Under-21 Hurling Final between Antrim and Derry which the Saffrons won, 0-16 to 1-9 to make it 8 Ulster Under-21 titles in a row.
