A Trip to Croke Park

As part of the GAA social initiative the Fermanagh GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee have organised a Trip to Croke Park for 50 Older (over 65) GAA people from our County.  The mission of the GAA Social Initiative is to make clubs more age-friendly, by increasing the participation of older members of society, through events specifically designed to enrich their lives and respect the important contribution they have made and can continue to make to community life.

On Saturday 8th April, approximately 50 people from Fermanagh will enjoy a fantastic day out in Croke Park – They will enjoy a full guided tour of the Stadium, a short film on the history of Croke Park and some of the great matches played there. This will be followed by lunch and then some time to enjoy the Croke Park Museum before making the journey home. Transport will be provided from various points in the county.  The cost of this trip is £20 per person.

There are only a few places left on this trip if anyone knows of anyone in their club who could avail of this trip please contact your club’s health and wellbeing officer/committee the few places left will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
