SFL Division 1

Fri Aug 5th @ 7.30pm

Devenish 2-18 v Maguiresbridge 0-10

Sun Aug 7th (ALL AT 1.00pm unless stated)

Roslea v Derrygonnelly (2.00pm) = Roslea only need a point to guarantee a top 4 position, while Derrygonnelly have already guaranteed there top 4 semi final place with last week’s win over Ederney. The loss through injury of Niall McMahon to Roslea is a big loss to the Shamrocks, while Derrygonnelly are 43 points clear as highest scorers in this division. A close battle awaits and both sides may just settle for a draw.

Teemore v Devenish = A win, a draw and a defeat in the last 3 games has shown Teemore to be a hard side to predict. However having just came up from division 2 they have done superbly well with Eoin McManus having a superb season to date. This will be Devenish’s second game in less than 48 hours after they defeated Maguiresbridge on Friday evening.

Belcoo v Erne Gaels = Two sides going the opposite ways in this league table. Belcoo have lost 4 in a row (1 of those they didn’t even field). Erne Gaels are within touching distance of securing a top 4 league semi final and will try to do the double over Belcoo. Having already defeated Derrygonnelly (twice) and Roslea (twice) Erne Gaels won’t fear anyone in the Semi finals.

Ederney v Maguiresbridge (3.30pm) = Ederney’s current form reads LWWWLD. Aiden Gilroy’s side had hit form that got them up to mid-table; however Devenish sit on 15 points and are level with Ederney. The Bridge side have plenty of games coming up and it’s looking likely they will be facing Tempo for the first relegation spot to Division 2 for 2017, especially after losing to Devenish on Friday evening.

Irvinestown v Tempo = Tempo have had 1 win in 14 league games which pretty much sums up their season. Throw into the mix that one of Fermanagh’s players of the season, Aidan Breen, has jetted off to America for the Summer and it doesn’t look good for the Maguire’s. Irvinestown have been playing some fine football and although they have lost 3 of the last 5 games they should have enough here.

SFL Division 2

Aghadrumsee v Kinawley = Aghadrumsee will bring a 4 game winning run to a clash that should determine how close the final two positions will go. The home side also have to play St Patricks Donagh so they still have a major say in how this table will finish. Kinawley lost mid week and will be eager to get back on winning ways.

Coa v Brookeborough = NOW CHANGED TO WEDNESDAY AUGUST 17TH @ 7.30PM

Newtownbutler v Belnaleck = The home team here should have enough with the form of Newtownbutler showing encouraging signs in recent weeks with wins over Enniskillen and Coa. They should get past a Belnaleck side that are currently on a 4 game losing streak.

Enniskillen v St Patricks Donagh = Enniskillen’s hopes of a top 4 finish and a chance of a return to Division 1 are gone. The County town side will now be looking forward to an IFC battle with Tempo and fine tuning the side. St Patricks Donagh on the other hand are playing some great football and should have enough in them here to win after impressively defeating Kinawley mid week.

Derrylin v Lisnaskea = NOW CHANGED TO TUESDAY AUGUST 9TH @ 7.45PM
