Ulster Council Blitz 11th August 2012

The following players travelled with Simon Bradley to the Ulster Council U17 Blitz on Saturday 11th August 2012:

These players attended but did not take part: James Allen, Shane O’ Hara, Garvan McManus, Stephen Martin

These players could not attend: Patrick Hyde, Kevin Curran, Colin Logan, Dwayne Rice, Ciaran Corrigan, Sean Keenan, Oisin Mahon, Sean Duffy, Daniel Ray, Martin Flanagan, Darragh Moane, Conor Howell, Luke Lynch.

Fermanagh U17s travel to MUSA, Cookstown, on Saturday 11th August 2012 for the 2nd Ulster Council Blitz.

The following U17 Academy players travelled with Simon Bradley, the County Minor team manager, to Augher on Saturday 28th April 2012 to take part in an Ulster Council Blitz involving themselves, Antrim and Tyrone. Eight of this group are part of this year’s Co. Minor squad and the rest of the players had joined the minors for a number of sessions before the Blitz.

In their first game against Tyrone the team started slowly and despite getting up to the pace of the game by half-time they were beaten by 5 points.

However, in their second game against Antrim they were the dominant side from the start and won by 10 points

The following players were unable to attend on the day: Sean Duffy, Michael Morris, Ciaran Breen, Sean Mullaney & Kevin Curran.

These players have now been integrated into the Co. Minor squad for training during the difficult exam-time.

 The next Ulster Council Blitz for this group is on Saturday the 11th August 2012.
