For the first time in 3 years the Fermanagh Senior Club Championship won’t have a Quigley from Roslea as the top scorer. With the Shamrocks bowing out of the competition at the Semi Final stage it now leaves Barry Mulrone one point ahead of the Quigley brothers and Erne Gaels attacker Thomas McCaffrey.
It’s looking like a straight knock out between Thomas McCaffrey and Jonathan McGurn of Derrygonnelly to see who will be crowned the ‘Top Scorer in Fermanagh SFC 2016’ on Sunday October 2nd.
Ryan Lyons is just 3 points behind Mulrone, while if Declan Cassidy can keep up his one goal per game ratio then he may come in under the radar.
For now though Barry Mulrone will be keeping his fingers crossed that the likes of McCaffrey, McGurn and Lyons can be kept scoreless on Championship Final day.
